Nickel 400 (or Nickel Alloy 400) is 67% nickel and 33% copper. Nickel 400 metal is resistant to corrosive materials as sea water and some acids. Nickel 400 metal is used in marine applications as pumps and valves.
Because of its resistance to corrosion, Nickel 400 metal is often used in chemical plant equipment.
